Connected Changes Everything
Digital agency Razorfish understands the connected customer better than most companies. As always they stay in touch with these uber customers to gain insights into the way this group thinks. The 2008 Razorfish survey threw up some interesting tidbits. For the connected customers, content now drives awareness, not advertising. In the US the connected customer is the new mainstream. A majority of customers use RSS and other Web 2.0 tools. They were interested in what others were reading like most read articles or most emailed stuff. Time spent of social networking sites and new services sites like Twitter were up and up. Most retailing started on a search site, rather in a store or on a ecomm site. View the deck here.
