Viral Video. What Works.

If there’s a theory about what works in viral videos, there is no theory. AdAge tries none the less to look at some patterns in this elusive art. Apparently stunts (like this incredible piece on street bicycle riding ) and hidden camera are top draw. Like one of the first pieces of video that was intentionally created to become a viral sensation and did: Still Free. More hidden camera work here from OfficeMax for their Penny Pranks campaign. Virals have always had an appetite for the bizarre. The enduring eyebrow dance from Cadbury. Or the Extreme LED Sheep from Samsung.
